About us
The Association
We are a non-profit organization that unites different people, with in common a strong bond for the Borgo and a passion for quality music.
Community
It all starts with our desire to bring people together and bring life back to the beautiful place where we live. Bringing different people together to create something special to remember.
Uniting the new generations with the old ones to resume the traditions of collaboration and sociality of the past.
Patronages
The patronage of the Liguria Region was granted to us given our quality musical proposal as well as our commitment to the creation of socio-cultural events with free access and non-profit.
Our activities are sponsored by the Municipality of Andora. Our concerts, in fact, stand out among the events offered by our city during the summer period, giving us the opportunity to welcome an audience truly interested in the music we offer, and who finds in the Borgo a relaxing and fresh space in which to escape. from the summer tourist frenzy.
From these patronages was born the initiative of the "Prize of the Presidency of the Liguria Region" for independent Italian music, which awards each edition of "Note tra gli Ulivi" to an artist chosen by the jury.
Our
history
In 1999 an entrepreneur, a musician and an artist founded the Gruppo Rollo 99 association. Which united the inhabitants of Rollo by organizing the now historic "Festa delle Erbe", based on a market of medicinal herbs and local products, lasting three days in June. The “Concerto di Mezz'estate” was also organised, which took place in August and consisted of a classical music concert in front of the illuminated Church of the Holy Trinity.
This is followed by the creation of Rollo in Blues who give life to a series of evening concerts in collaboration with the "Rollo Blues Band" and other Ligurian bands.
In 2015 there was a split in the organization and since then the "Amici della Festa delle Erbe" association has taken care of the Midsummer Festival and Concert.
While the Gruppo Rollo 99 continued with "Rollo in Blues" also creating: "Antigua" which included a series of concerts and medieval music fairs with a craft market and historical re-enactment. “Note tra gli Ulivi” was also born, a series of eclectic concerts that grow in quality over time, bringing increasingly important artists to the stage. This year “Note tra gli Ulivi” will reach its fifteenth edition!
